Nuwefonteinskop Lodge is completely off the grid and lies at the foot of a rocky granite hill, adjacent to Kotzesrus village, 50 km south-west of Garies.
The lodge offers beautiful rustic rooms in the original part of the old farmhouse, each with a patio and views overlooking a nature garden and the peaceful village.
“When staying with us, you can leisurely stroll through the village and surrounding fields, have long afternoon naps on your patio, and even sleep outside under the stars.“
During your stay, at dinner time, you will be treated to traditional country cuisine and desserts, served in our dining room or any one of three bomas on the premises. Our breakfasts include fruit, porridge, and cereals, as well as fresh breads and warm farm-style breakfast dishes. We serve sweets and savouries with afternoon tea in the lounge, make cosy fires in winter, and offer beautiful wooden decks for enjoying the morning sun.
We have a pool with a sun deck and a view, gin sundowners and picnic trips to the nearby beach on the Atlantic Ocean shore, and we do night drives with hot chocolate drinks under the bright stars of the Milky Way.
Entrance to the Nuwefonteinskop Private Nature Reserve is free, as well as WiFi and parking, and you’ll never pay extra here for coffee or tea.
“And of course, we have the world-renowned Namaqualand flowers in springtime right here at the lodge!”
